These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Voilo mobile application ("Voilo", "the App") and any related services. By downloading, accessing, or using Voilo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Voilo is provided by:

Voilo may be used by individuals aged 10 years or older. Users under 13 may use the App only with parental or guardian consent where required by law.

1. Overview of the Service

Voilo is a productivity application that helps users record voice input and convert it into structured data that can be written into Google Sheets. The App performs the following:

  • Converts speech to text using Apple's Speech API
  • Extracts structured data using OpenAI APIs
  • Writes data into your own Google Sheets through the Google Sheets API
  • Stores tracker configurations and pending entries locally on your device using Apple SwiftData

Voilo does not:

  • Store your voice recordings after they are processed
  • Maintain servers that store personal data
  • Access or read any Google Drive files except those you explicitly select or create for use with Voilo

Future versions may use a backend server for anonymized click-stream analytics to improve usability. Personal data will not be stored without user disclosure and consent.

2. Your Account and Google Integration

Using Voilo requires signing in with a Google account to allow the App to:

  • Create spreadsheets for your trackers
  • Write data to your chosen Google Sheets
  • Access sheet metadata (e.g., column names)

Voilo cannot browse or access other files in your Google Drive. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining control of your Google account
  • Reviewing Google's terms and privacy policies
  • Managing permissions or revoking Voilo's access through your Google Account settings

3. Plans, Pricing, and Subscription Terms

Voilo offers a free plan and optional paid subscriptions.

Free Plan

  • 1 tracker
  • Up to 3 data entries per day
  • Up to 15 seconds per voice recording
  • No subscription required

Basic Plan

  • Up to 3 trackers
  • Up to 10 data entries per day
  • Up to 15 seconds per voice recording
  • €2.99/month or €29.99/year

Pro Plan

  • Up to 20 trackers
  • Up to 100 data entries per day
  • Up to 60 seconds per voice recording
  • €9.99/month or €99.99/year

Enterprise Plan

  • Custom features and limits
  • Pricing available upon request

All paid plans:

  • Renew automatically unless canceled
  • Include a two-week free trial for new users
  • Are billed through Apple's App Store
  • Must be managed or canceled via the user's Apple ID settings
  • Are eligible for refunds only through Apple's refund process

Voilo cannot issue refunds directly.

4. License to Use the App

Voilo grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal or internal business purposes.

You may not:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits or subscription restrictions
  • Reproduce or redistribute the App
  • Interfere with any security or technical features of the App
  • Use scripts, automated tools, or bots to overload third-party APIs

5. User-Generated Content

Your use of Voilo involves providing your own content, such as:

  • Voice recordings
  • Spoken statements and their transcriptions
  • Data fields and notes
  • Content placed into your Google Sheets

You retain ownership of all content you provide.

However, you are solely responsible for ensuring your content is:

  • Accurate
  • Lawful
  • Appropriate for storage in your Google Sheets

Voilo does not monitor, review, screen, or detect illegal or harmful content. The App has no technical ability to identify illegal content.

If we become aware of clear abuse or violations of these Terms, we may limit or suspend your access, but we have no obligation to monitor content.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Voilo to:

  • Violate any applicable laws
  • Upload or submit unlawful content into your Google Sheets
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription or usage limits
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App, its architecture, or third-party services (Apple, Google, OpenAI)
  • Abuse integration with third-party APIs or violate their respective terms

Voilo does not monitor content, cannot detect illegal activity, and is not responsible for user-generated content.

7. Third-Party Services

Voilo depends on services provided by:

  • Apple Speech API (speech-to-text)
  • OpenAI API (structured data extraction)
  • Google Sheets API & Google Drive API (writing your data to your Sheets)
  • Apple App Store (subscriptions, payments, entitlements)

Your use of Voilo constitutes acceptance of the terms and privacy policies of these providers. Voilo is not responsible for:

  • Downtime or outages
  • Changes to third-party service capabilities
  • Errors or inaccuracies caused by these providers

8. Privacy and Data Practices

Voilo's data practices are described in detail in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Key points include:

  • Voice recordings are processed and then discarded
  • Your data remains in your Google Sheets
  • Voilo does not operate personal-data-storing servers
  • Local device data (trackers, pending entries) is stored via Apple SwiftData
  • You may delete the App at any time to remove local data
  • Google permissions must be revoked through your Google Account settings

9. Service Availability

Voilo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy of speech recognition
  • Correctness of parsed or extracted data
  • That every entry will be written to your Google Sheet successfully
  • Availability or reliability of Apple, Google, or OpenAI APIs
  • That the App will work without interruption or error

Offline use is limited to recording and storing entries for later processing.

10. Warranty Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Voilo provides no warranty of any kind
  • All implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for purpose, non-infringement) are disclaimed
  • Speech recognition and AI parsing may contain errors
  • Users are responsible for reviewing entries before finalizing them

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Voilo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Voilo is not liable for lost data, misinterpretation of speech, incorrect parsing, or errors caused by third-party APIs
  • Voilo's total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Voilo in the preceding 12 months
  • If you are on the free plan, your sole remedy is to stop using the App
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law

12. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect when published within the App or on our website.

Continued use of Voilo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using Voilo at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscriptions
  • You misuse third-party APIs or interfere with service functionality

Termination affects only App access; data already written into your Google Sheets remains in your Google account.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by:

  • European Union law and
  • French law, where applicable

Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer-protection laws.
